This is who I would induct.

Maybe Tarver, Hatton and Vitali too in the eyes of the HOF. I wouldn't champion them though.

    The rest: nah.

Be nice to see Gerry in the HOF, but perhaps he hasn't done enough to earn it. :-((

although the names on Johnson's resume is superb his reign as a champion seems rather weak.

    2-4-1 in title fights

If I have a vote? Only Casa and Rafa are locks. Winky, Glen, Ricky, Vitali, and Vernon are all borderline.

Forget the trilogy (impossible as that may be).

Dude's career before he moved up already iced the cake.

Anyone saying Winky is not a lock needs to go and lie down in a cool, dark place and think about their behaviour.

I'm not sure I can rationalize or justify picking Johnson, I just ****ing love him.

If only he spackled his inactive spells, even with bull**** stay-busy fights, I'd have him as NQA. I guess, actually he fought a steady 2x/yr in his twilight, but still. Signature wins over Mosley aside, feels like something's missing. Maybe DLH.

A win over Dawson and maybe a final defense or two would really help his case a lot.

Agreed. I think he will beat Dawson, then Woods again (as he seems to be rising to mandatory status yet again somehow), then another defence or two (he may be capable of more considering the energy he showed v Daniel Judah), and he'll be home and dry. The only man who ever beat him soundly was Hopkins, and there's no shame in losing to perhaps the most skilled fighter of the era. The other losses were either close calls or robberies. He is a true warrior.
