Which of these guys has the best chance of becoming world champion?

    Ok out of the list which of these guys has the best chance of becoming world champion in the future

    Why Torres? Hasn't really got any momentum going at Light welter..

    Taylor must have a decent shot, seeing as he's in a tourney with 2 world champions.. Roy Jones does if you count IBO apparently.. Zab has a chance if he goes 140, zero chance at 147.. I'd say Allan Green or Jermain Taylor..

    I'm assuming you mean title holder so I went with Zab. There is a vacant title at 147 and another at 140. Not to mention I think he'd have a shot at beating Berto and the 140 pound title holders if he was to move down there.

    If zab moves down to 140 he deffinately has a big shot but im going on the basis that he's gona stay at welter where his chances are slim. I picked torres becuase he's flying below the radar sometyms and people assume that he's weakened after his losses to holt n cotto. punchers chance does it for me, same with green

    All JT has to do is win 2 of his 3 fights and he'll be a Champion - so he has the quickest track.

    Allen Green isn't going to get his shot unless he moves up or down.

    Roy Jones Jr. forget about it.

    Zab is in a very good spot right now - depending on how he moves - he'll have another chance at a title within the next year.

    I don't see Torres doing much of anything in the next year or so.

    Not really the point of the thread, but don't you think Zab could have made lower weights? Must walk around at 155 tops, I mean when you think Floyd fought at 130 for the first 5 or 6 years of his career, they're about the same size..

    I only discount Torres on the basis of what i heard from his comeback fight in Columbia, got into a bit of a war with an unknown fighter, probably why hes not rated that high at Welter yet..

    no taylor winning two of three technically wont make him a champion becuz each person fights three times in the first stage of the tournament. if he loses to abraham and then gets matched up with both the andre's and beats them both...........still not champion

    im bumping this thread I made becuz roys fighting tonyt and well......look at how many ppl voted for him to win a world title agen back in july. see how views have changed all of a sudden as he now actually has a shot, and I think he will win
