Nevermind misread your quote. But he was never knocked out out. He was stopped twice but it was from punishment not like being on ***** street.
Because he got knocked down by Taylor with 15 flush shots right in his face and stayed down till the count of two...thats why he has chin problems. Unlike the great Granite Chinned undestructable Carl froch who was dropped with a single shot from Taylor and stayed down till the count of 8.
He has a decent chin, but he did nearly get knocked out by old-ass Hopkins who has barely any power now.
Gamboa has been dropped I believe 3 times but never truely hurt, Pavlik was on ***** street in the 1st JT fight, Dawson went down vs Adamek and was hurt by Glen Johnson. Miguel Cotto is the winner though he was dropped numerous times vs Pacquiao and avoided a brutal KO by running, hurt badly vs Torres, Judah, Corley and was slightly rocked vs Mosley and of course dont forget Margarito. Cotto's chin is not bad though hes faced some great competition obviously.
Have we every seen any of these guys layed out on the canvas???? NO. So what made you want the pick these 4 of all people?
I think the TS is just curious all of these guys have been considered by many to have shaky but not glass jaws. So its like a who has the worst of the shaky chins I guess. If he wanted glass then you could have Wlad, Khan, Lineares etc.
I wouldn't even consider their chins to be shaky. If you get caught with a good shot to the chin you dont see coming then your gonna to go down. And what I find weird is that some fighters never loose their "Granite Chin" title even when we have seen them get put down worse then others. Froch and Andrade are always being labled as having "granite Chins" when we have seen the both of them put down with single shots. Where as Pavlik and Cotto get these titles of having Shaky chins when they themselves where only Knocked down a few times and never out cold.
