Douglas was a light puncher? :think :rofl He wasent a big bomber but he sure as hell wasent a light puncher. And yes I can imagine almost anyone being KO'ed by Buster Douglas or anyone with his power if they were hit on the button for 11 rounds and being hurt+tired.

But to answer your topic, I wouldnt be schoked to see Holmes or Bowe (overrated piece of fat lazy garbage) KO'ed in the first.

Yeah, and out of those 81 fights, about 71 opponents had a record of 10-20. Foreman's record is INCREDIBLY padded, so don't quote that statistic asif it's anything meaningful.

The only puncher he faced that landed on him was Lyle, and he knocked Foreman down twice and may have knocked him out if not for the bell saving him at that moment. Then there's a knockdown to a featherfist in Young and a knockout to another non-hitter in Ali, and he was stunned often times before he got tired as well.

A quick combination puncher like Tyson or Louis could do it in one round, as he's wide open, has **** balance, etc. I wouldn't put any money on it, but out of that list, he is the most likely.

No, Foreman was too solid, too much heart, too dangerous when hurt.

Ali by a pretty decent margin.

Foreman, Bowe and McCall I could see being stopped in a first round. It would take a hell of a fighter, a whole lot of coincidences and just the right punch.

Ali, though. It's really hard to see him bombed out by anyone while his reflexes are still so minty fresh and his legs so well under him. Survival skills, whiskers and an iron will.

Speaking of survival skills, I think I'd make Holmes 2nd on the list.

Ali would be the hardest because he combines chin with the kind of reflexes that make him hrd to hit cleanly, especially early in the fight.

Tyson is moving forwards so if someone plants one on his button he could go early. Foreman is also at risk because he is looking to trade power shots.

WHAT?? Don't mention Demspey or Marciano cause they werent "true 200lb heavyweights?? But you then put Tua, McCall on the list!!!!
There were numerous 200-300lb men fighting during Dempsey and Marciano's era, just that they didn't hit hard enough or fight hard enough. If thats the case then why aren't the numerous huge 280lb atletes today not all time greats or champions?
I can't stand this ill informed weight bias. Tyson and Holyfield were only a few pounds above 200 in many of teir earlier fights. They didn't hit harder as the weight increased. Marciano and Dempsey could handle mugs like Tua and McCall all day long. How many times did you see Marciano KO'd or DEmpsey KO'd like Tua and McCall were?

In polite response to the original question:
    Ali
    Tyson
    Holmes
    Johnson
    Marciano
    Foreman
    Dempsey
    Lewis
    Holyfield
    :bbb

Tyson did have a great chin. In the Douglas fight, he took a horrendous beating. Douglas was a big man landing big shots at full force for 10 rounds. The uppercut he hit Tyson with would have knocked any heavyweight out, including Oliver Mcall if it was late in a grueling fight like that one.
Very few heavyweights could take the punishment he took from Douglas, Ruddock and Lennox Lewis for that matter.
Regarding this list, I would be shocked if any of them was knocked out in one round.

This is hard because ALL of the men listed have excellent chins.

I will say that Tyson was never knocked out early, by a single punch, or even by a particular combination. All of the times he was KO'ed were long acts of attrition and wearing him down. They were all deep into the fight after many rounds of LOTS of scoring on him. Just look at his facial structure--setback eyes, large cheekbones, and a 19 3/4 inch neck. Perfect for absorbing damage.

Someone mentioned Tyson was "rocked" by Bonecrusher at the end of their fight. That is a bunch of baloney. It was a good punch, but Tyson wasn't anywhere close to being knocked out/bothered by it.

So I just can't see him going down in one. You had to wear him down with a sustained and successful beating.

ChrisPontius and Rocky Marciano and Jack Dempseys werent padded? Rocky Marciano was knocked down by a blown up 40 year old middleweight in Archie Moore and knocked down by 1 punch by another 40 year old in Jersey Joe Walcott. Of Dempsey's 60 or so odd wins 25 had 0 wins coming into the fight. Foreman is black and Jack Dempsey and Rocky Marciano were white so of course they would never catch any heat for fighting easy fights right?

Chuck Wepner 18-4 Boone Kirkman 22-1
Jack 'Halloran 18-5 Gregorio Peralta 82-6
Gregorio Peralta 77-7 Joe Frazier 29-0
George Chuvalo 59-15 Pierre Coetzer 39-4
Jose Roman 43-7 Tommy Morrison 36-1
Ken Norton 30-2 Michael Moorer 35-0
Muhammad Ali 44-2 Axel Schulz 21-1
Ron Lyle 31-1 Lou Savarasse 36-0
Joe Frazier 32-3 Shannon Briggs 29-1
    Scott LeDoux 18-3
    John Dino Denis 28-0
    Dwight Muhammade Qawi 28-5
    Bert Cooper 20-4
    Gerry Cooney 28-2
    Adilson Rodrigues 36-3
    Evander Holyfield 25-0
    Alex Stewart 28-3

And I could name other guys who came into right with Foreman with high winning percentages but as I said Foreman is black and Marciano and Dempsey are white so you will never find fault in who they fought against. Tyson fought easy people, Ali, Holmes, Louis but you act like only Foreman fought easy people

LeftHook you are a Tyson fanboy, nobody cares what you think about Tyson. Who else did Douglas knockout besides Tyson who you would consider great? Douglas was a fat out of shape slob who was considered nothing more than cannon fodder for Tyson and Tyson still got knocked out. Did Lewis knock down or knockout Evander Holyfield? Nope and you know why? Because Holyfield did have a great chin and was a great fighter.

Ste Hawkins you are like alot of people here and by that I mean you can't read. I said don't mention Rocky Marciano, Dempsey or any other sub 200 pound fighter and yet as always a little kid like you mentions them

I can't bring myself to look at your arguments because of the childish attitude you bring. You could have tons of good points and I will never know.
