haye is shockingly under-rated . He'd of probably lost to most , but would of given them all a hard fight.

Maybe only a fat unmotivated Buster Douglas.
Anyway,Haye has never been one to take hard fights unless he was getting 100 million dollars for it. Haye would only fight Buster Douglas and claim it was a "very big fight."

David Tua beat the young strong in shape John Ruiz in 30 seconds.
Haye was put through hell with old fat Ruiz and needed 10 rounds to stop him on his feet.

Oh yawn, young and strong John Ruiz? That was pre-octopus Ruiz, after David Tua he knew he couldn't adopt De La Hoya's style and reverted back to his squid business and successfully frauded himself into championship fights by Don King at his side.

David Tua got outboxed by Hasim Rahman, badly outboxed at that. He also had to get a gift decision against 17-5 Jeff Wooden.

Don't tell me about David Tua, he was garbage.

Haye could use lateral movement to pot shot Tua and carry a decision.

Morrison, Byrd, maybe Tua on an off night or if it was one of those nights where Tua only wants to throw one punch at a time and didn't bother training for the fight.

Similarly, Douglas and Mercer blew hot and cold, so you never knew when they was going to be great, (or at least tough challenges) and when they wasn't going to be much of anything. So there's always a chance there.

Everyone els eon that list smacks him around, and if Tua, Douglas or Mercer are on their games, I'd favor them over him in a heartbeat.

That was post-Ike Tua. Tua and Ibeabuchi weren't the same after they fought each other. pre-Ike Tua murders Haye all day.

I disagree, I think Haye could have beaten Holyfield, maybe even stopped him. Evander was never a big puncher, and not that quick on his feet. I think Haye would outbox him and use his reflexes to avoid Holyfield's punches.

    1. Lennox Lewis? - Lewis KO
    2. Mike Tyson? - Tyson KO
    3. George Foreman? - 70/30, those wide hooks would miss a lot and Haye likes to counter.
    4. Muhammad Ali? - Ali UD
    5. David Tua? - Tua KO
    6. Chris Byrd? - Haye close UD
    7. Riddick Bowe? - 50/50
    8. Evander Holyfield? - Holyfield TKO
    9. Buster Douglas? - Haye TKO
    10. Larry Holmes? - Holmes late TKO
    11. Joe Frazier? - Frazier 70/30, Haye does have a small chance in this matchup.
    12. Sonny Liston? - Liston KO
    13. Ray Mercer? - Mercer KO
    14. Tommy Morrison? - Haye KO
    15. Ike Ibeabuchi - Ike KO

I'd pick Haye to comfortably outpoint Frazier. Maybe even TKO him in the later rounds. Frazier is way too small and one-dimensional to be a threat to Haye.

Otherwise he could win against Tua (UD), Douglas, Morrison and Ikeabuchi. Byrd on the other hand I think would be tough for Haye stylewise. Haye would lose vs. the rest of the list.

Uh... Frazier is 3 inches shorter than Haye, and his prime fighting weight was between 205-210 pounds, while Haye as a heavyweight generally goes 210-215. How is that too small? Hell, Ali was the same size as Haye!

Also, I doubt Haye has a viable way to counter the pressure from Frazier, unless he jumps all over a slow starting Frazier and does major damage in the first 2 rounds or so.

Indeed I think David Haye could beat Evander Holyfield.

Like I tried watching his fights vs John Ruiz and I wasnt too impressed.

Only about half of that list has legendary heavyweights.
