Kell Brook , coming off an horrific stabbing incident knocked out Jo Jo Dan on March 28th.

On May 30th, he will defend his title again against Frankie Gavin- the highest rated IBF challenger available.

Should he win, On July 13th he plans to fight again against either Brandon Rios or Juan Manuel Marquez. After of course, Amir Khan ducked him.

So in the course of 104 days he will have 3 fights.

So what would've been more impressive for Brook to do in your opinion.

    1. Do what he's doing.

    2. Stop at home, playing with himself and wait until July 13th.

Bare in mind, people who say he should fight this guy and that guy, if Brook would've fought a voluntary challenger who's not ranked like let's say Keith Thurman or Robert Guerrero on May 30th (you off course being under the assumption that they would be allowed by Haymon, and that they are available or would accept), the IBF would probably not allow him to fight another voluntary (Marquez or Rios) on July 13th.

    So let's hear it haters....

    No rush for Brook.

He's got age on his side.
He's a World champion who travelled to the states and beat a very dangerous opponent.
Challengers should be chasing him. Not the other way around.

Like, if Thurman and Marquez want the belt. They better get their plane tickets out.
Why should Brook travel to their backyard?

Yeah. I don't think Thurman or Marquez themselves have any objection to traveling if they want the fight it makes more money in fairness (they are not Andre Ward). Not sure Thurman's manager will be keen on him fighting Brook in England though. :hey

is this really a serious question? of course keep doing what he's doing, even if he's facing a bunch of outmatched guys until he gets a top dog into the ring with him

Look on the other thread. Brook getting no end of stick from clueless ham and eggers. Some saying he should fight Berto or Ortiz instead because it's a competitive fight :patsch:lol::lol:. People spend way too much time listening to the HBO commentary team.

    1. Salka was an extremely awkward fighter, Danny just rose to the occasion and knocked him out!!!

    2. He should do what he's doing but to charge PPV for such a ****ty fight when there were other better fighters out there!!!!

    :hi:

I have no problem with Brooks current course of action (and this is coming from someone who's been critical of him in the past).

He's staying busy which is most important, and even though he wants a specific fight, he's not putting his career on ice waiting for it. Khan should take a cue.

Name them who you knew FOR A FACT was available at short notice and them and their team would allow them to take, and was ranked in the IBF top 15 not coming off a loss so would be class as a mado. AND was more know in the UK to sell a PPV fight than Gavin.

And please also bare in mind due to the IBF rankings, he would have had to fight Gavin after July 13th anyway most likely.

I look forward to this list.

Fighting is better than not fight, obviously. So clearly option 1.

However, if he fights Rios next after Gavin, he will have defended his title 3 times and not one of which were remotely debatable top 10 Welterweights.
