First and foremost what's your problem with Ahumada? Because there shouldn't be one.

I'm pretty well-versed in that era, without trying to sound condescending maybe you're not.

    Schmidtke
    Finnegan x2
    Rondon
    Bogs
    Parlov (big robbery)
    Hutchins
    Bennett
    Ahumada
    Lopez

The latter two one-handed performances. Some of them not at their best, but then again some of Naz's notable opponents weren't either, or were never weres like Alicea and Sanchez.

I love Naz BTW, but Conteh shits all over him.

My problem is that modern fighters get criticised to far too great an extent for similar or better wins. You wouldn’t give credit to Mayweather for a similar level of win. It’s all opinion anyway. I just don't like the format where someone has inifinite time for entry, especially in the old timer/pioneer categories where the pool isn't getting bigger so perhaps favour the modern counterparts.

Excuse me? What sort of 'level' do you mean if you don't know the fighters I'm talking about? :huh

I give Naz all his genuine contenders/belt holders. The guys I mentioned here for Conteh for all that. And yes, I giveFloyd the likes of Gatti/Briseles but they wouldn't be as impressive a win as say Hutchins, who I've seen on film looking better than both and he was a more viable contender in his own time.

Bogs; out Of his best weight.
Rondon; former titlist, past his best.

I go over everyone's resume with te same level of scrutiny I'll have you know, I don't just use boxrec. Anything less and I'd be cheating myself and wasting my own time!

Wasn't the impression I get considering how dismissive of Mayweather vs Cotto you are for example. Maybe I'm wrong.

    Anyway, I don't think there's a lot in it.

To save flea's ire, and because I agree, Conteh.

I'm not interested in the fight. I don't like modern boxing. Doesn't mean I'll say 'the win means nothing'!

You've seen me say before anyway, I'm not really qualified to judge the modern game, I don't know enough about it at all :good

    Conteh obviously.

Eubank, Benn and Naz all helped boost British boxing I a degree, so they deserve the accolade.

As does Watt and Hatton IMO
