I'm conduction an investigation into the perceptions of Naseem Hamed....

Hamed was an elite, All-Time Great fighter.

Hamed was a very good fighter, but not elite/ATG.

Hamed was a good fighter, and a strong Champion.

Hamed was an average fighter, who thrived on careful matchmaking.

Hamed was a fraud, a hype job, he was exposed at the elite level.

I voted very good, but not all time great, although ifI were to describe him myself Id say he was elite at his best, but obviously wont go down as ATG due to his record

There isn't really an option that fits my true opinion of him but I selected the second one to help you with your poll.

    Very good, but not elite.

Even that achievment is a waste of his potential. Naseem Hamed could have been so much more than he ended up as. And that's the crying shame.

What do people make of the guy he brought in after Ingle? Oscar Suarez was he? Infact didnt he die not too long ago? Sorry if im wrong like! I found it a bit weird how he had Suarez and Steward at the same time, I dont think that helped matters at all.

2nd option. Ridiculous depth of good fighters on the resume, but no elite fighters.

Anyone know why The Ring didn't have a belt for the Featherweight division in the 90's? :think:huh

I feel he could of been an all time great but just never lived up to his full potential.... which is kind of a compliment considering what he did achive.
