    As I've always said, comparing fighters from different eras is nonsense. No one saw a 2000 Joe Louis, a 2000 Dempsey, a 2000 Marciano, etc. No one saw a 1920 Klit, a 1940 Leonard/Hearns, etc. A 2000 Ray Robinson!!! Jeez o pete, they'd have to outlaw boxing!!! :) That being said, I think a Rocky-Smokin' Joe warrants consideration given that their primes were 'fairly' close. If you 'tweek' the eras just a tad, this one could have been a brawl IMO. Take your pick.
