I went Calzaghe, but there's a damn good argument for Mosley. The fact that Mosley has been able to remain competitive way over his best weight speaks well for me. Anyone voting Mayweather is just letting their hate get in the way. He might not have the best resume ever, but his resume is clearly better than a lot of the other top fighters of this generation. Mayweather-Jones would be an interesting matchup here though. Both did quite a bit of cherry-picking.

Shane Mosley's is not very good for a fighter of his ability. Actually, one could say the same about any of these resumes. None of them truely match the ability of the fighter.

    Mosley's is the weakest though.

I'm no particular lover of Mayweather but to be fair the initial questions asked who had the weakest resume, not who was weakest bearing in mind the quality of fighter they are.

Sorry,it's my opinion, you don't have to share it.Beating guys like Sosa and Judah and Oscar are leftovers from others. Not to mention he beat the legendary Baldomir. His resume is so weak it's ridicolous. But of course he always can brag beating Bruseles and Corley...

I voted Mosley. I think Mosley's resume is the weakest.

Mosley's general opposition is better than that of Calzaghe.

Calzaghe has the weakest resume but his achievements are better than Mosley's.

It's this old chestnut again. A resume is not equal to competition. They are not one and the same.

I really don't see why this is so difficult to grasp.

Yeah but also keep in mind that 4 losses are to the same 2 guys.

Anytime you don't give a fighter credit for going up in weight and beating a good fighter, you're being pretty harsh. Floyd is a small Welter, going up to 154 and beating Oscar is a good win. Oscar went up to 160 was fairly competitive with Hopkins before being stopped. So don't act like he's some garbage fighter. Thunder, simply don't like Floyd and your posts regarding him are overly critictal and lacking in logic and rationale.

Every fighter follows a different path to the top. I think Calzaghe's acheivements outweight his relatively weak resume. He has been involved in some very good fights.

Oscar was past his prime and he barely got a SD.A few yearsd earlier and Oscar would have beaten him. It's a good win but not great. It ain't better than Corrales that's for sure.Anyway I consider his resume weak and it is weak regardless what you say.If you agree or not it's you'r problem.

Mayweather has the best. Shane is second. Calzaghe is third.

You think? That's nice, thanks for posting. Any opinion on the actual question at hand though?
