Floyd mayweather, moved up to 154 and did what he said would stand and fight with cotto. Even when cotto had some success floyd didn't get on his bike he traded fire with fire and proved to everyone how there is no blueprint to beat him.

Shout out also to Ward but that isn't the Dawson I know, was he weight drained? Who knows, but he just didn't look comfortable at that weight.

Garcia, he did the only thing he could have done, which is knock glass chin khan out if he caught him flush. To be honest I would have been more impressed if he UD Khan, as that would have been much harder to do, if that makes any sense.

 

Ward. I knew he'd win, but not this clearly. Garcia looked like he was getting outboxed by Khan until he kaid down the thunder. Very good win for Danny winning how he knows best, but the complete domination then dropping Dawson and finally stopping him Ward just looked more impressive tho Garcia's win might be better due to the weight issues.

A shame he's only been able to fight once so far.

 

Andre Ward proved in the Super Six that he was top dog in his division and a contender for P4P. He was rightfully fighter of the year in 2011. The manner of his victory against Chad Dawson really impressed me, I thought he'd get a UD… a wide UD, but he scored a very emphatic stoppage.

Danny Garcia though has impressed me more. I didn't mind the first Morales fight. I thought Morales showed against Maidana there is still life in the old dog yet didn't bite too hard against Cano. Garcia edged him, then went on to completely embarrass Khan in a match he was the underdog in and ended up unifying half of the alphabets and claiming the lineal crown.
