Carl Froch beating Dirrell, Abraham, Kessler and Taylor again to win the Super 6 series.

    OR

David Haye beating Valuev and the two Klitschkos to unify the Heavyweight division?

Froch, theres a deeper pool of talent for him to get through. Valuev is beatable and Vit isn't getting any younger.

I would agree with this ^^^^...having said that Haye beating Val, Vit and Vlad would be a real achievement

Seconded- if Froch beats all of the opposition in the tourney then that would be something else. I am also convinced that Haye would destroy Wlad.

Froch. Hayes would be a real achievement but the heavyweight div is **** poor in reality. Wlads ok but still looks vulnerable when being punched. Vitali is there for the taking and Valuev is shite !

Froch beats them all and wins the super six he leaps past Calzaghe's achievements IMO

Would the significance of being the undisputed HW champ mean more than being the best in a fairly young division with no real history attached to it?

I personally think Froch's achievements would be better because the talent is greater and more varied in front of him. But being undisputed heavyweight of the world is obviously more historic.

In the eyes of a casual fan, of course Undisputed HW status would be huge, POW. But, as you say, considering the depth of talent in the tourney, a Froch whitewash would be huge. Maybe even one of the biggest ever achievements of recent years for a Brit fighter? Shame the man on the street still doesn't know his name, though.

Considering how much the general has built up the Klits- I cannot wait to see what they say about Haye if and when he's undisputed champ:rofl.

Froch to beat Dirrell (gets outpointed), beat taylor (taylor put on a clinic until the ko) kessler (much better boxer who will tear him up with a 1-2 with froch non existent defence), ward (too good for froch too fast, footwork, defence etc. ) abraham (froch will struggle to land and lose a one sided decision.

I can't see froch winning any of the super 6 fights taylor proved he can be outboxed and pascal created the blueprint.

The sight of an undisputed HW is a nice dream and boxing could regain a bit of credibility it lost with alphabet councils and organizations and as much as hes derided Haye could take the excitement back(in a poor HW division at the moment) to the casual fan of the Tyson era, everybody, even my gran knew Tyson! but as you say the superstars today are smaller fighters simply because class wise there better and more exciting and if Froch could do it history should honour him with the greater achievement.......

I'm actually gonna disagree with most here and say that Haye becoming undisputed HW champ is the greater achievement. I'll write valuev off as he wouldn't really be a very impressive win. But both Klitchko brothers are bigger wins than any of the comp in the super six in my opinion, as they are far more proven opposition. Also you can look at the fact that froch will be facing men of a similar size to himself. Wheras Haye will be facing men 20-30 lbs bigger than him.

Good points well made. I'm sure a lot of people will agree with you. I personally think that Froch would face the better opposition but it's an interesting one.

Haye's. Froch doing that would be a great acheivement but for a cruiserweight to come up and unify a division that is being thoroughly dominated by 2 fighters right now, say what you like about them, would be a hell of an acheivement.

and looking at it in a different way, if Haye did it chances are he could be the man to restore some popularity in boxing and that would be a massive thing which the sport needs. Although the super 6 is great for boxing as well.

I can see that Haye moving up from Cruiser to be undisputed HW champ is quite an achievement and maybe, looking at the big picture, you could say its more impressive than Froch getting through the Super 6 undefeated but I think as a run of fights from this moment forward Froch has the harder task.

I should make it clear that I based my opinion on skillset as well. If Froch gets through this tourney then a lot of people have to eat humble pie- me included.
