Chisora, by a long way. Wlad is an established long term HW champ, probably top 10 P-4-P entrant and divisional No.1. Alvarez is a hot prospect, nothing more.....yet. Wlad is obviously the higher mountain to climb.
by the same token, Hatton is proven to be average, Chisora is kind of unkown as to how good he could be. Its a weird one, but personally i'd be more shocked to see Hatton with the WBC around his waist, than Chisora slip a jab, come inside and clobber Wlad into a stoppage.
Chisora has no chance whatsoever of winning, Hatton is at least fighting a bit more of an unknown and will, I can't believe I'm writing this, be one of the liver opponents Alvarez has fought. Wlad has fought, beat and embarrassed a lot better fighters than Del Boy
Looking at it from a neutral perspective, Hatton is a lot closer to Chisora than Alvarez is to Wlad. People who pick Hatton as the bigger upset are really falling back on the "Wlad has a dodgy chin/stamina" argument that was thrown about years ago after his early career upsets, even though Wlad has adapted his game since those upsets and protects his chin better and doesn't blow his stamina early doors. Lets admit it, does Chisora have any chance to win a 12 round decision over Wlad? No. And He has little or no chance of KO'ing the Ukranian either, because Wlad doesn't take risks anymore. He'll jab the **** out of Chisora for a few rounds, and then when he starts bringing his right hand into play it will be game over. Alvarez on the other hand, meh.....looks good, could be a real prospect........but he's not Wlad level yet, is he?
Both would be monumental upsets. Chisora seriously has about 0.1% chance and Matt Hatton is going to be exposed horribly and thats without even buying into Alvarez.
I just pray that Del Boy does the unthinkable and puts Wlad flat on his arse...:yep I don't even like talking about Matthew Hatton...:barf
this is a joke right mad matts an underdog but chisora is up against the wall with his nuts hanging out
Had to go for Hatton, i can just about imagine a big punch for Delboy stunning the world. That said Alvarez does look like he may get cut, but I never really see a win on cuts as legit.
Journey men fighters beat unbeaten prospects, it happens. More frequently than you think...is Matt Hatton a journey man or just a Euro level Welterweight? Or both. Either way a win for him would be an upset but would it even get in the top 30 or so upsets of all time? Wlad v Chisora on the other hand. You've got Wlad who's ruled the heabyweight division with an iron fist for like 6 years now, who has not looked close to losing since before then. Chisora has only had 14 pro fights and reached the domestic scene, he gassed against Sam Sexton, he's got not physical advantages over Wlad. Chisora beating Wlad, in terms of the stature of the fighters and the gulf in their ability; would be right up there with the greatest heavyweight upsets of all time. The only thing that would discredit it is the negative state the division is in.
This isn't a debate. As crazy as it sounds, hatton will be the highest ranked opponent that saul will have faced. Wlad on the other hand is the dogs bollox right now and anyone beating him would be a huge upset.
