154 has lots of talent. DLH, Mayweather, Simms, Alcine, Spinks, Forrest, Dziedurik...its an underrated division but they need to fight each other. I say----160lbs. It has Pavlik and.....Pavlik. Taylor, Miranda, Hopkins, Trinidad are gone and were left with Abraham and Sturm, two guys who are happy to defend their worthless belts at home for as long as they fight against lowly comp.
lots of people are saying 154 & 200+ as much as thats true light middlewieght might not have a star but all of the welters are capable of going to it. and the biggest fight of last year actually of all time was at this wieght so i wouldnt totally agree with that. there are also some quality undercard light middlewieght fights. judah davis was a burner, ennis-conyers was amazing top watch. but with the heavies....they are negative where as light middle might be weak. the modern heavies are so bad that witherspoon, bonecrusher, ruddock, tyson, vitali, lewis, tubbs, bowe, morrison ect have threatend or actually fought a comeback where as one is weak the other is detroying itself
it wasnt that long ago since omar shieka was seen as a "star" he might not be good but he does have some drawing power
Minimumweight always is and always will be the worst division. There just aren't a lot of guys who can come in at 105 lbs, so the level of competition can't be that high. Out of the weight classes listed, I'd go with LMW, but HW is really close.
Definetelly 154, really hopeless division right now. After that it's HW, with a little more upside than LMW.
