Which one of Bob Foster's opponents would you favour to beat Oleksandyr Gvozdyk?

It’s as simple as Stevenson being the better scalp and that’s why Gvozdyk got a belt and victory over a top 2 light heavyweight.

I think Hill that fought Michalczewski would probably beat Stevenson that fought Badou.

No it just shows Gvozdyk only has 1 notable win in his whole career against a 41 year old.

It shows that Gvoz was lineal at 175 and Jones never was.

Yeah because 41 year shopworn Stevenson resembles a prime RJJ who is probably one of the best H2H fighters of all time with godly speed, athleticism, and immense power.

There are a raft of LHW's who'd have beaten that version of Stevenson. He looked every bit a 40 year old fighter.

Remind me again how many title defences Gvodyzk made ? 1 was it ?

How many did RJJ make ? I rest my case.

It’s curious how Stevenson had defended twice against serious players at 175 in the year and half leading up to Gvoz, but were supposed to overlook how Hill lost a fight and sat on his ass for the rest of the period leading up to Jones. If Stevenson were so past it, why did he win the Fonfara rematch more easily than the first one?

It’s odd that we’re supposed to fixate on Jack’s loss to Pascal at face value, which consisted of getting robbed against a dirty PED abuser, and overlook how he never lost a fight again and won a cruiserweight title. It’s odd how we’re supposed to overlook that Hill never won another big fight outside of catching a protected fighter who he’d already beaten cold.

Remind me how many Beterbiev’s they each fought. Remind me how many lineal defenses Jones made at 175.

He beat a shopworn 41 year old and then did nothing of note.

That's the tricky part. Hard to say how much Hill has slipped from the previous fight to the one with Roy - but the same can be said for Stevenson after very physical fight with Badou at 40 years of age.

Hill was still solid even up at cruiserweights, for good couple years after losing to Roy - so I don't believe He was in any way washed up the night He fought Roy.
