Agreed. Mosley had already been battered by Forrest when Wright fought him, Trinidad had already been dominated by Hopkins when Wright fought him. I say Trinidad is the most impressive win because he was amazing at that time. Tarver has never been as good.
Hopkins over Tarver impressed me the most. I never though B-Hop could do it, I kept thinking eventually Tarver would wake up and take the fight to B-Hop and brutalize him. B-Hop changed the game up though and scored a KD on Tarver. One of the best upsets I've witnessed, closely followed by Hopkins vs. Tito.
Just goes to show how Hopkins had two of the most shocking performances in recent memory. Few people gave Hopkins a chance in both fights due to many circumstances leading up to the fight.
i was more impressed by how Shane took Wright to such a close fight in the rematch than how WW beat Shane convincingly in the first one. WW is VERY prime at 154. Shane Mosley is arguably prime at 135.
Oh, and i was equally impressed withe Hopkins' wins over Trinidad & Tarver. I called him stupid and then he won.
That was the rematch, and Forrest's performance over Mosley in the first fight was more impressive. Mosley wasn't fighting that well in recent fights leading up to the Wright fight, his 2 losses to Forrest, no-contest to Marquez, and controversial win over DLH. Trinidad had beaten 3 title-holders in his last 4 fights going into the Hopkins fight, and his last fight before losing to B-Hop was one of his best wins of his career. He had been performing well up to that point, on a hot streak.
