Pacquiao asking Cotto to fight at a fair catchweight of 145 lbs. is not even a bull$hit.

Exactly. JMM was compensated for Floyd weighing more than 144lbs.

Well Pac fought Oscar at 147, so why not Cotto at 147 you have to ask. Floyd shouldn't of made the fight at 144/5 if he wasn't going to make it either though.

I'm not too bothered by either, plenty of fighters come in overweight like Floyd did, and plenty of other's fight at catchweights.

Well many here considered Pacquiao fighting Cotto at 145 catchweight as pure bull$hit. Not making the agreed contracted weight is more disgraceful than that.

neither was bull****. only bull**** was cottos belt being on the line and not being able to weigh in at the limit. and if those extra 2 pounds of floyds really ment summat then why didnt they just cancel the fight? they didnt make a diffrence and it must have been in the contract that he cold weigh in over that and just pay compo.

    both were bull****,

but Pacqiuao and cotto agreed on a 145, and in the hindsight it seemed bull**** and at the time it seemed ok coz pac was definately the smaller man

Floyd and Marquez agreed on a 144 and then Floyd changed come weigh in so thts definitely worse

The Oscar fight had to be at 147. Pac couldn't go any higher and Oscar couldn't go any lower.

Oscar is the one that wanted the fight and weight. Pac just fought Diaz at 135 and he is not about to jump to 154 immediately. But Oscar wanted another fight so the only reasonable weight for Oscar and Pac was 147.
