Is that the same thing as THE HW Champion of the World? No, it isn't. Jones was never unequivocally "the man" in any division he fought in. That, little buddy, is a Fact.

Obviously you weren't watching Boxing in the nineties, then. He never beat a single lineal, unified, or undisputed Champion in his entire career. In every division he fought in there were dangerous opponents with just as good or better a claim to the legitimate throne than Jones and he refused to fight them for a myriad of reasons. Beat it, nuthugger.

Metalmandible, Say whatever you wanna say man. You just can't change the fact that Jones is one of the legendary fighters in the world.

Yes, you do. You just used seven of them responding to something that you are trying to insinuate isn't worth your time.

    Look at the poll options.

Whatever you say cannot change the fact that Jones fought exactly two great fighters in his entire career and one of those was severely weight-drained because he was and is a tub of lard. He is no legend, end of discussion.

Internet "fighter" questioning how good RJJ was, he was p4p#1 fighter of the decade, but yeah he was no good, it was easy to go to heavyweight and beat Ruiz, and everything he did was easy:patsch
WHY DO YOU HATE HIM WITH A PASSION??? DID HE **** YOUR MOTHER OR SOMETHING???:D

#1 - This is a discussion forum, i.e. a place for people to present their various opinions. This is probably not the sort of place for you if someone disagreeing with your own opinion can get you this upset. Maybe when you have a touch of hair on your balls you can come back and try having an adult discussion again.

#2 - P4P is not real. Fighter of the Decade is not real. It is the opinion of sports hacks who get around, crunch numbers, and imagine who would be the best if X, Y, and Z factors were met. I could make a P4P list with King Kong, Godzilla, Superman, Batman, and Captain America on it and it would be as valid as the ones in the magazines. Jones was not carrying around belts that said "P4P Champion" and "Fighter of the Decade" on them, therefore, they mean very little when discussing his merits.

#3 - Obviously beating Ruiz is not that high a hurdle considering a fat blown-up MW in Toney was able to Dominate him even more thoroughly and blown-up CW Haye was able to shatter his Glass Jaw all over the place. Also, that fight was a disgrace. Jones did nothing but run and potshot, he barely broke the double digits for punches in some rounds.
