Which other Brit heavies down the years could have finished Wilder in 7 rounds or even less?

Could any other British heavyweights from thast have stopped Wilder as impressively as Fury did or even better? I feel Wilder didn`t do enough preps on his base which left his balance very off.

Jack Peterson, Tommy Farr, Jack London, and Jack Doyle (alcohol free) are a few off the top of my head that have good shot.

I could see Peterson, Farr, and London figuring Wilder’s style out in a couple of rounds and turning up the heat to take Wilder out.

Doyle vs. Wilder would be 50/50, since Doyle when he wasn’t drunk was as wild and unpredictable as Wilder is today. I could see this being a real slugfest.

A handful at best. I think people underestimate how good Fury is and how lethal Wilder is. Lewis should take him out early and tended to brawl with bigger guys, with Lewis there's the off chance he gets caught in the way in McCall style. Bruno I love but you'd expect him to get taken out as he usually did. Akinwande would outbox Wilder until he got caught and he likely does get caught. AJ likely wins but could get taken out as we saw against Ruiz. Haye probably looks to box to a decision but could potentially take Wilder out himself. Danny Williams was talented and had the power to do it but would probably get knocked out

Everyone else is too small or not good enough. Skeleton, Sprott, Harrison are all losing. Cooper would get starched. Bugner got dropped and stopped on cuts against Shavers and dominated by Frazier so loses to Wilder too. Gary Mason would give him a good fight but is too open for Wilder imo. Hide is getting starched

Lewis probably always would and now after Fury I think Bruno could be programmed to, if he could handle the pre fight intimidation.

Plenty of British Heavy's would beat Wilder. Lewis would've destroyed him. see Lewis's fight
with another "Hyped Giant" Michael Grant t but couldn't fight a lick for reference.

Grant could fight; box? Not so much. But he was rushed as a pro, and found out in the end.
