    Ali took tremendous damage in that fight from one of the hardest punchers of all-time which other heavyweight down the years could have taken that kind of bashing? Scars were found on Ali`s brain after that bout and his speech began to slow in interviews shortyly after.

    Some iron chin bangers like Chuvalo, McCall or Uzcudun. I'd bet that Max Baer would take these shots without going down.

    Shaver never carried his power into the later rounds...always had stamina issues...and never had a KO after the 7th round...

    Shouldn't we not mention guys who DID absorb that punishment from Shavers, like Lyle, Holmes, Cobb, Mercado, and Tillis, who all beat him?
