Agreed Stevie, I like Norton against a lot of those.
The one's that I'd avoid is the obvious big hitters such as Louis, Dempsey, Lewis, Tyson etc.
But then again they'd take out a list a mile long anyway those guys.

He could beat Byrd and possibly Povetkin if he fought extremely cautiously against the latter.

    Wlad would flatline him.

Fury would win easily if he chose to brawl.

In my opinion Povetkin would tear him up. Sasha has a great uppercut and he'd be spamming it right under that crossarm defence all night long.

Wlad and Vitali hated fighting guys with long, powerful jabs, which Norton had.

Norton would stand a great chance of beating either.

In fact, Norton would stand a great chance of beating nearly all of the champs in history. Norton was a fine heavyweight. He could slug and get into a boxing match with the best.

Only the most aggressive, hardest punchers would be heavily favored over Norton at his best.

Guys who are cautious or liked to counter, or the Klitschkos with their classic stand-up European style, would ALL be in for very rough nights.

If Ali and Holmes had trouble with him, they all would.

Dude, Mariusz Wach gave Wlad a long night and even hurt him once because Wlad got into a jabbing contest with him.

Davarryl Williamson gave Wlad a hard time and floored him because Davarryl could pop and used a good jab.

Fury beat him with the jab alone.

You didn't even have to land it. If his opponent's jab came back in his face when Wlad jabbed he had to pause and reload. Totally threw him off.

Norton's jab kept him in fights with Ali and Holmes because they didn't like fighting jabbers, either. Carl Williams closed Holmes' eye with a jab.

Did you see his fight against Chambers? Povetkin pretty much got punched in the face until Chambers decided to become a sparring partner after four or five rounds.

Norton also destroyed Quarry although I guess he was rapidly declining and undersized compared to Vetkin.

All his predecessors save Frazier, Foreman, and Louis and all his successors save Mike Tyson.
