Larry Holmes would have gotten a ton of criticism.

I suspect people would find reasons to bash Sugar Ray Leonard, even when he was fighting Benitez, Kalule, Duran twice, and Hearns in a 2 year period.

Evander Holyfield would've gotten a lot of criticism in his first title run at heavyweight.

Billy Conn, Willie Pep, and Pernell Whitaker would get the most hate. They would call them feather fisted runners.

Imagine how much backlash Jack Dempsey would get, especially late in his title run.

    Yeah, that's an easy one.

    The most hated fighter ever.
