angulo vs silva - i didn't expect this to go the distance...hell im sure no one expected this fight to go the distance...i thought it would another warmup for angulo on his to a big fight...i couldn't believe i was watching a smaller fighter in silva not only taking the fight to angulo but rocking him several times...getting hit with big punches from angulo and not going down or wobbling..silva is now on my radar to watch

Other than the ones already mentioned, I'd say Pascal vs Dawson. I know the ending was controversial, but even if I was rooting for Pascal, I never expected him to be able to win as many rounds against Dawson. I thought the only way to win for Jean was by KO, but when I saw him out-jab and out-speed Chad, I was really surprised and impressed!

I was more surprised at how Dawson seemed to freeze in the ring

Pascal fought a great fight but Dawson also turned in a terrible performance

For me it was Ward - Froch.

Everybody was giving him **** and in each fight he proved something new and someone wrong. Great fight and he looked really good there.

I'm going to throw another one out their and say Jones Jr vs Tarver 1. I know Jones Jr has a lot of haters on here so won't go into it any further. Guess I should mention Jones vs Griffin 2 also.

Very interesting call.I view that as the sad period opening up.
It was one of the saddest things I'd seen in boxing when(as I remember it) Roy celebrated not getting KO'd in the last fight with Tarver as if he'd scored a great win.

This. Estrada was an unknown. He fought his heart in a close loss against one of the best fighters in the world in the smaller weights in Roman Gonzalez and then backed it up by beating another one of the best fighters in Brian Villoria. Estrada is only 22 and he seems to be one of the future stars of Mexico. He certainly proved he shouldn't be underestimated again...

    Hi Cloudz.
I'm guessing you're still hoping Lucien wins though?

Honestly, Trout-Cotto, at first it seemed like Cotto would have an easy night, but trout stepped his level if skill up that night

Roy just completely went downhill fast. His biggest problem back then was mental. The weight loss and everything else was also devastating. But, I knew he was completely shot to **** when he couldn't even get Trinidad out of their. That was quite a sad performance. In the 3rd match with Tarver he decided to open up in the 5th round I believe and he about knocked Tarver stupid. He just didn't have it anymore however. After his hard fought victory in Tarver 1 which is vastly underrated, Roy Jones was never the same I don't believe.
