This is why I don't even bother with p4p lists. They are floored by their very nature. No accounting for styles.

 

I truly hope it doesn't come to that! Wily ol' Popkins with the ref, judges and American boxing machine on his side is going to present an uphill battle for Joe. I'm sure I won't be the only American fan rooting for him, but he's got his work cut out for him.

 

It's simple. If Lacy becomes a champ again and wins some big fights then nobody in their right mind can call him overrated and completely dismiss Joe's total domination of him!

Any win Calzaghe has from here on in is just icing on the cake.

Kessler was a harder fight H2H imo, but the Hopkins fight is just as meaningful, if he loses, he legacy is tarnished dramatically, he simply cant lose, but winning the Ring 175 title will add to a great resume, as will Hopkins' name.

Calzaghe should not retire after Hopkins though imo. He has more great fight in him.
