Option D. Win a Welterweight belt Vs. Paulie. (Have Ortiz on the same bill, as his comeback fight Vs. Alexander, why not???) Then they square off on PPV. Ortiz/Khan & the bickle fight fans forget all about the past.
Are you kidding the fight fans will never for get about his past to much has gone on with him in a short time, yes he can come back but he will have to be match up with kid gloves and who is going to want to watch those fights.
Khan needs to ****ing retire he will never win against an Elite fighter ever he is done no fighter with any type of power will ever respect Khans punching power, they will walk through him as did Peterson as did Garcia, as did presscott as did Maidana and go after that chin. Its over for Khan
i like to see him fight hatton in the MEN then take malignaggi belt off him in MSG then have brook knock him out & win world tittle:happy
Rematch Garcia at 140 and then Move up to 147 as originally planned, he needs to beat garcia to vindicate himself just moving up to 147 and beating Malignaggi again for the WBA belt won't mean anything.
I've got Mayweather fighting Bradley or Garcia when he gets out of jail. After Money kicks Garcia's ass he can rematch Khan.
Option F: Invest in a new trainer that can develop key areas in Khans game that have since Kotelnik/ malignaggi taken a backseat. Do away with the yes men in his team who most likely agree with everything Khan says to keep on the payroll. In an ideal world of course. I dont think Roach has done anything wrong with Amir, he succeeded in developing some key areas in Khans game, the jab for example and in small doses the effective ambush attacks that are Pacquiao esque. My personal opinion is that Khan sees himself as a Pacquiao type fighter and that Manny has probably become a negative impact on Khan. He tries to employ the same tactics as Pacquiao which probably isnt what Roach wants. Roach wants Khan to box people as we saw in the Kotelnik fight, my belief anyway. Not sure if its arrogance or sheer stupidity that Khan hasnt realised that he is not Pacquiao and the only thing they share in blurring handspeed. Roach has done a good job but in a nut shell i think Khan is a nightmare when trying to get him to use his tools or follow a gameplan. If im was Khan the obvious choice as a new trainer would have to be Steward, that may be difficult short term but long term i dont see why not. Khan already has a pretty good jab that Steward could bring along but his footwork could be improved by lightyears under Steward as would his inside spoiling. Thats all providing Khan stops watching tapes of Pacquiao. If i was Khan i would take 4-6 months out to ensure he's well rested and his team is all in order and then a further 6 months making them crucial improvements, no second chances after another **** up, he's far too small and fragile for welter.
