Bowe should have never had any fans in the first place

Interesting that Bowe has had a mention before Tyson. And noone has mentioned Tyson Fury yet.

Vic Ortiz always scored big ratings on TV so the Berto rematch was painful. Fans throwing **** at him.
All of his losses were disappointing.

Victor Ortiz did spring to mind but was he just a hypejob or did he **** away more talent than people realise?

Pavlik earlier was a great shout.

I really wanted to see Lewis Bowe. It always seems like the one missing piece from that era as everyone else pretty much fought each other.

Mike Tyson and Tyson Fury are both very good shouts.

    Tyson:

Wasted much of his true physical prime in prison and then upon
exiting prison instead of rededicating himself to his
craft, he became a complete sideshow. Tyson is a HOFer
and ATG, but he should've been so much more.

agreed the universally seen as a fraud chavez jr put out a huge effort vs Martinez in the 12th and put it all out on the line and had Martinez in danger and Canelo sort of coasted to defeat

I was one of wlads biggest defenders on here for years but he really did it to himself

basically any chance he had to be a big star whether vs iggy haye povetkin of fury on hbo in hyped fights he stunk it out. now I'm not laying full blame on him given haye fought cowardly iggy really took no risks and fury really only did a little more every round but he did win

wlad really only shined after the initial hbo boycott by blasting pulev

pavlik and Taylor both did with such emerging title victories only to have disappointing reigns ultimately end in defeat

did you see that ring article kind of a rise and fall of both men. I never realized how bad Taylor's drug issues were

I think with Ortiz it was the way he lost.
    First one was a DQ.
Then he went to war and got beat down. I dont see the loss to Maidana as him quitting but the post fight interview did not help. He got beat down and should not have been giving an interview.
Then he had that draw with Peterson in which he just started retreating like he was scared. (that draw was BS, Ortiz won that night)
    He showed heart vs Berto.
And next up is theayweather fiasco. He completely caved and was all smiles post fight.
    Then Josesito broke his jaw.
Next up was Collazo, who landed on good shot and Ortiz stayed down. Looked like he quit.
Same thing with Berto rematch. One good shot and it looked like he quit.

Its not about loosing fights, its how he lost them.
