Someone needs to tell James Toney about this place. I reckon he'd spend all his time here, and wouldn't be too mature for back and forth **** talking with strangers

edit; or Audley Harrison or Tyson Fury. They'd always be making threads about themselves

I've heard that Randall Tex Cobb posts on here on a regular basis and is still intent on making a comeback in the top division. Why not, everyone wants a slice of the cake.

I also remember Willie Limond posted on here on a regular basis and, from what I read, was well recieved...

On a more general note, why slag off guys who are professional or are just right into the sport? Surely one of the benefits of a decent [sic.] DG like ESB is that genuine fans can voice sensible and sometimes informed opinions; or am I completely missing the point? I only come on here because I can read posts from contributors who clearly know tons more about the sport than me - and my head is full of boxing shite and trivia. On a Friday night, I've been known to send entire pubs to sleep within ten minutes of starting one of my "old days" rants. I think that explains why I was escorted by armed men from Maryhill and dumped in Paisley. The good news is that whilst I truly dislike their fitba team, the place is full of punters who love their boxing! Rock 'n' roll!

I close by giving you one of Randall T's greatest ever lines:"Don King is one of the great humanitarians of our time". How f***ing good is that!

    Good post!!

Of course trainers are going to "Back" their fighters, it would be ludicrous to think otherwise! Any criticisms/comments trainers may have are kept for the fighter, almost always "In house" and never to be revealed on a boxing forum, surely?

As you say, constructive criticism never hurt anyone, but in it may very well provoke a reaction from a professional boxer's trainer!

To some, a twat. To others? An ESB brit forum legend.

As a relative newcomer, you dont know the true powers of Dunky McCafferty.

Just wait until Scotland has another fighter who is Harrisonesque, & watch me go...
& that time is fast approaching noob, from different cities. & when my bases are covered? Watch the old Harrison nuthugger come back to life, you have been warned.
