I feel GBP is better simply because they seem to have more interest in providing fights that the fans want to see. At least they have more interest in doing it than TR does. A good example would be the JuanMa and Gamboa fight. Fans wanted to see it sooner rather than later and Arum gave his infamous answer "**** the fans!" Well JuanMa ended losing and now nobody even talks about the fight anymore.atsch Also GBP seems to cater to more what the there boxers want, where as in TR its Arum's way or the highway(with the occasional "drag your name through the mud" marketing tool he likes to use from time to time). Would TR had put Victor in with Floyd. HELL NO. It would be smart because they would realize he isn't ready, but GBP took a chance on Victor because he said he wanted it and the money was too good to pass up. Didn't work out but hell at least they gave him a shot. Thoughts?:think
Both have their pros and cons, but I think Top Rank is a better overall company. Manny Pacquiao's fights are generally bought by fans and not by companies that will jack up the ticket prices (Mayweather vs Ortiz). Top Rank also does a better job at promoting their fighters. Lately, GBP has really stepped it up with bigger fights, but if you look at Miguel Cotto, Manny Pacquiao, Antonio Margarito, etc. Those guys can draw fans. They also have plenty of up and coming fighters that are turning into legitimate draws like the Magdaleno brothers, Brandon Rios, and Donaire.
