just an odd question how was geoff kanofski as a fighter? or sparring partner any good? better then his son?

 

ellyas pical-fought the great khaosai galaxy(L tko14)...and held the ibf super fly title...i lived near his gym in indo and had been a fight fan for 3yrs...he was pretty kewl...the indo's love their champs...i can only imagine how much they worship chris john over there at the moment...

 

Basically, as uppercut said. Back in the day, he was a top, top fighter. Absolute fitness machine. Stories in my home town about him jogging 20kms around Ipswich with a bag on his back, filled with bricks. Used to run backwards a lot of the time too! Very fit fighter. I was still only a boy when I sparred with him. He'd have taken it easy for sure.

joe laferla he fought peter mitrevski snr and knocked him out first minute of the first round after coming out of retirement and have met his son....

If you have a sport radio show why don't you ring and speak to this Ike character? Apparently any positive media coverage is good coverage so why not get someone that knows what their talking about to ring in!
It's 10:30am their time so you would have to work out the difference.

 

Who is Dom Devanna?

 

Dom is a good aussie kickboxer, who had a go at Boxing in the last few years.
Hard hard trainer & top bloke too.
He is now having a bit of a go with MMA, when he is not working.
Dom had a few fights on Fox Sports in the Boxing arena in the last few years including matches against Dan Geale & Rob Medley.
Also you may have seen him when he KO'd Clinton Simmonds on the Mundine vs Green undercard, that looked like the biggest dive u would ever see.
Dom reckons he hit him with some power for the 1st time & Simmonds just caved in.

 

Would be great if you could call up on this jacboxer TV show and chat to the world about Australian boxing..pm me and ill give you all the details..plus ive posted as much as i can about it. Youd be perfect to do it.. thanx Collette
