It's been over 3 years since the last Olympics. There were several good to very boxers that came out of the last Olympics, some are near a title shot (Povetkin) and others are still a work in progress (Ward) Which prospect, do you think is the best of the 2004 Olympians?

    1. Yuriorkis Gamboa

    2. Alexander Povetkin

I can't say much about the rest (for example, Solis is out of shape and chubby and I question his determination to make it to the top...Ward must slowly step up in competition and Amir Khan doesn't have the best chin...).

Khan, Berto, and Povetkin receive most of the press. But I think possibly Mares or maybe Andy Lee (Steward is real high on him), could have great careers.

You should have included Yuriorkis Gamboa and maybe Odlanier Solis...

If he were walking down the street he would not recognized outside of East Oakland. He fights on a lot of regional cards here in the Bay Area usually down in San Jose. He needs to be on an Showbox card, or hell even Espn, he needs the national exposure again, everybody forgot who he was after he won the gold medal.:-(

After this week when Berto wins i feel Berto will be the best prospect and deserves it from his resume.
