Like I said in my first post most if not all on the list do not belong in a prospect talk.
Abraham and Lopez hold world titles and are solid contenders in their divisions.
Ortiz is a contender in his division
Khan is sort of fringe contender,if he beats Kotelnik he is top 10 surely.
Valero is at least a fringe contender.Probably top 10 on most peoples lists.
    Ward is borderline top 10.
    Berto is a contender
Prescott is a fringe contender at least himself.
    No prospects there.

Half those guys hold belts. If you hold a belt, you're not even a contender anymore. Khan has an interim belt and will be facing Kotelnik for a real one. Abraham has defended his belt, what, 8 times now? The only one who's actually a prospect is probably Prescott, as (a) he hasn't fought for any belts and (b) he still has a LOT to improve upon before joining the top level of fighters. I suspect he'll be a one-hit wonder.

Hmm. For some reason, I thought the Barrera fight was for the WBO interim title.

Berto, Lopez, Valero aren't prospects, they are established. Khan is a contender. And Abraham is arguabley the best middleweight in the world.

    :huh

I think that Lopez gets hit too much by lower level fighters. He is taking alot of clean shots, Im just not sure what happens when he steps up in comp. I would call AA a prospect either he has been a belt holder for some time now.

I also like Danny Jacobs, the only problem he may have is when he faces a guy who can punch better than him. When I saw him tossed to the canvas his last fight, he seemed uneasy.

Yeah, we'll have to see, but chin, stamina and desire are all question marks for ALL prospects until they're tested. Jacobs was only knocked down once in the amateurs, and that was by Shawn Porter, who can PUNCH. We already know he doesn't have a granite chin, but it's pretty likely that it's at least average.
