Sheer power - Hearns and Cuevas. Maybe but I'm not sure Robinson, Leonard, Walker, Duran, Burley. Mosley also hits like a ton of bricks with his haymakers but rarely lands his best

I wouldn't be 100% sure about anyone, Tommy included.

Mosley's best punching weight was 135. Tito certainly hit harder at WW.

    I'd say Hearns.

Tough one tbh, Tito could seriously seriously bang at 147.

Hearns, langford, mayorga, mosley... They're all in the same league and each have an argument imo

Certain fighters have better 1 punch attributes

    e.g.

    Tommy Hearns - right hand
Ray Robinson & Pipino CUevas - left hook upstairs
Jose Luis Lopez - left rip to the body
    Ike Quartey - Jab
Oscar De la Hoya - Uppercut

But as a composite package, Tito is right up there with the best welter hitters.

Thomas Hearns. The only guy who could have really beaten Hearns at welterweight was Leonard!! Avoiding the right and being fast enough to counter yet almost losing a decision!!

Thomas Hearns is a definite i think he is in a class of his own for WW punching power.

Then Trinidad is in that next group with the likes of Robinson and Cuevas.

In terms of concussive raw power I think Trinidad isn't quite as brutal. He's very accurate, consistent, 2 handed attacks and maintains his power round on round. In terms of raw 1 punch power I don't rate it that highly, certainly not in the realms of Hearns/Cuevas, I mean it's very good but that explosive

Mosley has the power at 147 but can rarely land his best punches. When he does though it's devastating - Vargas/Margarito/Mayorga/Stone. He put both Winky Wright and Mayweather on ***** street
