It always seems to me that guys like Robert Guerrero, Amir Khan, Daniel Geale, Victor Ortiz, Chris Algieri keep getting title shots and big money fights. Don't you find that strange? I find that interesting. They're like cannon fodder but still get shots at Floyd Mayweather, Canelo, Cotto and the top stars in boxing. Any other guys like this?
because they have a win or two that is notable and tend to be in fights that entertain the fans...usually by hitting the canvas a few times. pretty simple actually. could put berto in there and basically anyone who meets those two criteria.
Khan - beat Judah, Paulie, Alexander, Maidana, Barrera. Geale - beat Mundine and Sturm while losing to Cotto and Golovkin. Guerrero - 3 weight champ who has fought Thurman, Floyd, Salido, Garcia, and beat Casmayor and Berto. Really with labeling them punching bags? Not that they are great but come on now.
Khan is box office for one reason alone, the world loves to watch his Bambi On Ice dance prior to getting KTFO.
