Why does PBF-Gatti make your list? All those other fights you quoted had 2 elite fighters in the ring.

If you're going to claim them as better than the Calzaghe vs Lacy ownage because Lacy isn't all that, then don't include PBF vs Gatti, because Gatti isn't all that.

I rank the 5 poll options as follows:

Tszyu-Judah - this was the ultimate humiliation for Judah, after all of his trashtalking leading up to the fight, calling Tszyu old and slow, with defence like Swiss cheese, it all started to go awry for 'Stupor Judah' at the press conference when Tszyu leant across and whispered "I smell fear" in Judah's ear :yep

Calzaghe-Lacy - Lacy was expected by most to KO the 'afraid to travel, brittle-hands Calslappy' in the early rounds, and Calzaghe was expected to run and potshot, but he took the fight to Lacy and broke him down over 12 rounds, winning every second of every round, making it look easy. While I like Lacy, he was badly humiliated and I feel it was this loss that killed his career more than any injury has.

Tarver-Jones 2 - after a controversial win in their first encounter, Tarver knew he had to KO Jones to avenge the loss, and he did just that, in only teh 2nd round. Some say it was a lucky punch, that he had his eyes closed while he threw it, who cares? It was pwnage.

PBF-Hatton - TBH, I really don't see this a spectacular pwnage - aside from the fact that PBF KOd Hatton, it was still a competitive fight - sure, Hatton barely won a round according to the score cards, but anyone watching it knew it wasn't a complete humiliation of Hatton, and PBF's praise and respect for Hatton after the fight emphasised this.

Winky-Tito - again, I don't really consider this pwnage - B-Hop revealed the blueprint to beating Tito, and who better to employ it than an excellent technical boxer like Winky, with his peek-a-boo defence? Plus, Tito was back after a few years away, so IMO, was past his prime.

Mayweather vs Hatton shouldn't even be on the list.

Gatti vs Mayweather should be, and that is also the biggest beatdown. It was brutal

The embarassing head-first-into-the-turnbuckle with a "check-hook" (as floyd non-chalantly recited the KO post-fight) constitutes more pwnage than a straight up beat down of club-fighter Gatti, I find.

Out of that list it would have to be Calzaghe vs Lacy. Calzaghe brought him over, listened to all the smack about how he would get KO'd and then beat the ever-loving **** out of him in front of not one person that was rooting for Lacy. Lacy got ****ing owned.

    What was Gatti then?

And while Lacy may not have been a P4Per, he was still a title holder, and had beaten some very solid competition in Reid, Vanderpool, Sheika, Tsypko.
