Both were extremely questionable, and definitely effected the outcome and flow of the fight. Which one is gathering more hatred?

Funny thing is, if it was Weeks who refereed Mayweather vs Hatton I'd strongly favour Hatton in that fight with him allowing all the rough housing tactics.

LOL! But would he allow Hatton though? I just think he and Ward were on the same... page Saturday.

Good point. Weeks would probably come between FMJ and an incoming Hatton hook to the liver and take the shot himself, than DQ Hatton.

I voted Tony, but both are not as hated as Richard Steele. Dude got booed for the rest of his career after Chavez Taylor.

In all fairness, Ortiz shouldn't have hugged Floyd so many times...

Agree but still it was Cortez responsibility to DQ Floyd.

What Floyd did was not illegal. It was dirty, but the problem lied in Cortez never putting them in a neutral corner after deducting the point.

I think Hatton found out Floyd can fight dirty back. Hatton even admitted how rough it was on the inside with Floyd suggesting Ricky got a taste of his own medicine. But like a true sportsman Hatton said it's part of the game unlike sissy complainers.

Weeks always lets the fight just play out. I hated the absurdity he allowed in the first Mayweather/Maidana fight but at least he's usually consistent with it. Generally regarded as one of the better refs.

Naw, the DQ should have happen with Ortiz. Unlike Kovalev, Floyd took matters into his own hands.
