And if you can only buy one of these 2 PPVs, which one would you get?

Floyd vs. Maidana II OR Pac vs. Marquez V

If Pac vs. Marquez 5 happens, Floyd would need to find a better opponent than Maidana then.

Pac-Marquez V. Fourth one did over 1 million buys. The Mexican fanbase contributes a lot to PPV. Maidana/Mayweather II is lucky to do 1.2 million.

Mayweather-Maidana. The public wont see this as, as much of a mismatch as they did the first time. It will do better.

The Pacquiao-Marquez saga has decreased in PPV buys doing just over a mil last time.

The 3rd did 1.25. and the 4th did 1.05 buys.

I know people dont like to believe it, but Pac isnt the star he was then anymore. There isnt as much as interest in Pac-Marquez 5. No one really wants to see it. Obviously people would still watch ( I would ). But the demand isnt there. That fight pretty much set in stone the winner. What made it sell before was that the fights were so close and controversial. It seemed like there was never really a claear winner. That changed in the 4th fight. We know who won. No controversy, no nothing.

When you combine the fact that Pac isnt the star he was then. Along with Dinamita never really being a PPV star. Along with TOp Ranks shitty undercard. Along with the fact that they've fought 4 times already. This fight maxes out around 900k.

Where as a Mayweather-Maidana rematch will do over a mil this time. It'll be Maidana second time on PPV, he got a lot of exposure in the first fight. And will be pretty known going in. And his performance in the first fight definitely upped his stock.

Mayweather-Maidana 2 will max out at around 1.2 million the second time. People will actually be giving Maidana a chance this time ( to a fault )

Both fights where great and I acually exepct The pac and Marqeuz fight to be bigger.
Don't think Floyd will rematch Maidana and I don't belive there's a reason for it I would much more want another opponent against Floyd.

May vs chino, we have seen Pac/Marquez merry go round 4 times already.

Some people out there truly believe May/chino was a close fight.

A lot of people are sick to death of Pacquiao-Marquez fighting over and over.

Pacquiao needs to start to leave Arum so he can get to fight a whole plethora of fighters at GB.

As of right now, hes 1 of 6 fighters that are being recycled over and over.
