This is pretty much how I see it. Vasyl also has the better footwork and handspeed compared to Marquez. IF Loma employs a tactic where he fights from the outside and jumps in and out cautiously, I could see him outbox Dinamita to a clear decision. The X-factor in all of this is Marquez' timing with his counterpunches. If Vasyl jumps in on him and isn't alert at all times, Juan can definitely drop him. I think it would probably end up being something similar to Marquez-Bradley. Bradley outboxed him quite clearly but JMM did land some clean, effective punches in that fight (he did look bad at the very end of the 12th though when Bradley shockingly punched him across the ring.)
Marquez KO3 Lomo would repeatedly try his trademark run behind him on his weaker side... Marquez would finally counter with a 360 spinning right precicely to the Lomojaw There's no getting up from that (just ask the granite chinned Pacquiao)
That's awesome. Well Marquez is my favorite active fighter, so I would've definitely rooted for him. a 360 punch would only add to his legend!
Its pains me to say it because i have so much respect for Marquez legacy/Accomplishments/classics he gave us in his tremendous career. Styles make fights. I just dont like this fight for Marquez. Loma outclasses him 7/10 times.
Jmm did struggle, but the only boxers to clearly beat Marquez were Mayweather and Bradley against a naturally smaller, older, slower version of Marquez. Marquez got robbed against Norwood and especially John.
Loma has the superior speed and footwork to outbox Marquez, but if he chooses to go to war or try to knock Marquez out Dinamita surprises Loma to the body, slows him down, and stops Loma. If Loma potshots and runs, he wins by decision. But if Salido had his great boxing neutralized, Marquez would humble him. Even Mayweather kept his distance from a bloated Jmm, Jmm is most dangerous when hes hurt, he's the master of going toe to toe.
