I dont know Vitali was looking tired and the steam was coming off his shots plus the eye was getting worse Lewis had more of a likely hood of getting a stoppage based on the eye and Vitali not seeing I mean Vitali took the uppercut from Lewis very well I dont think Lewis was gonna KO Vitali but he may have landed a string of shots when Vitali couldnt see Vitali probably would not have stopped Lennox unless Lennox started to gas more or slowed down
Result should have been Vitali TD Lewis, since he was ahead on the cards and because the initial cut was caused by Lennox's foul. Lewis did a lot of hitting while holding in that fight. He also landed some headbutts on the cut, and rubbed his gloves in it. But the useless referee didn't even warn him for all that. Lennox was afraid to rematch Vitali and so he retired.
Vitali looked like the victim of a prolonged gang ****, no doubt his corner would have pulled him out at the end of the 7th if Lewis hadn't already brutally KO'd him.
