I am thinking about Erik Morales here...

Clearly, once you're shot, you're shot. But sometimes you appear shot, everyone says you are shot, but you mak a comeback in the next fight, and it's back to the good old days. Are there instances when this has happened?

Holyfield was written off as shot after losing to Moorer, getting KO'd by Bowe and looking average against Czyz before coming back with arguably his best performance against Tyson

I'm sure Muhammed Ali was considered shot after losses to Frazier and Norton

Roberto Duran was probably considered shot after losses to Leonard, Benitez and Laing. He went onto beat Cuevas, Moore and go close with Hagler. Later he'd beat Barkley in his last hurrar

Oleg Maskaev was considered washed up and he's done fairly well since some bad losses.

The only name that I can think is Roberto Duran.

    When was Barrera considered shot?

Barrera's career has been pronounced dead numerous times over the past 10 years. Only to comeback with a strong performance and climb the P4P rankings once again. He can even do this again if he somehow pulls an upset over Pacman.
