Hard to find sparring partners like Usyk. He should probably mix up southpaws with cruiserweight, light heavyweight or even middleweight movers and slicksters. It seemed Joshua was way out of his depths in there, it was like a hobbyist guitarist who just learned 'Wonderwall' being told to sight read classical guitar in an orchestra. He needs to practice against some genuine pound-for-pound talent and hope he can find the beat.

Yes ideally someone who could emulate Usyk or forge a gameplan for AJ.

Finding someone to mimic Usyk will be damn near impossible. As there are limited southpaw at heavyweight and literally none that could copy his movement.

So it leaves bringing in people to help forge a gameplan. Andre Ward would be good for this. And someone to help execute said gameplan: Lennox Lewis.

If AJ doesn't improve its going to be another puppet master performance by Usyk.

    Easy: wladi

He will show him how to fight against smaller guys. But I don't think he will actively support aj against usyk

There is small amount of fighters like Usyk. They should probably check out the amateur boxing clubs in Ukraine where this particular style is practiced.

Wlad but he likes Usyk and if he ever wants to come back better to let AJ fade.

Lennox as well but they hate each other.

    In all honesty.
He should try everything to bring Gvozdzyk in there. He's retired but he would probably be the best sparring partner for him

He's probably gained some weight as hes retired, hes basically the same height as Usyk, similar reach and is probably the closest boxer to Usyk's style.

Wlad would be the obvious choice since they get on well and he has a lot of experience against southpaws. Not sure he'd be willing to work against his countryman though.

@Tim Witherspoon would be a great trainer or advisor for AJ in the rematch.

Honestly, Joshua should try and poach Sugar Hill. He needs someone as close to Emanuel Steward training him as possible

I don't think they hate each other. I think the millennial in AJ came out and he doesn't understand that Lennox is just trying to offer him constructive criticism
