:good Agreed so Cali can claim Palomino,Quarry bros,Ruelas bros,Lopez bros,Nonito,Mares etc etc.. Born elsewhere but either learned their craft here or raised in Souther California (or both).

Robinson is not a michighan fighter:nono

Robinson is not a Michigan fighter. He was born in Georgia and started boxing when he was in New York.

No Michigan dont necesarily got this(depends on your criteria) lets compare there top 20,30 or 50 with Cali ill make the Cali list..

And Florida cant claim Cuba:lol:.. IF so then Cali and Texas can claim Mexico Close enough right? Or at least let us claim Erik Morales hes from the border, just a hop skip and a jump from Cali(literally)

And New York is being severly underrated here... History wise they might be number 1.

Id say Williams is more of a South Carolina guy... I think he was born and lives in georgia.... But raised and learned to box in SC.

Robinson was born Walker Smith Jr. in either Ailey, Georgia (according to his birth certificate) or Detroit, Michigan (according to his autobiography)

    Sugar Robinson claims Michigan!

I seen a shirt one time that pretty much sums up Detroit.

"Detroit : Where the weak are killed & eaten!" Bought me one, as I love the music scene in Detroit also.

CA currently is the best. Mosley, Donaire, Guererro, Andre Ward, Rios, and Bradley are genuine Californians. Margo was born in LA and developed his pro game in LA.

And Pac wasn't **** until he came to LA.
