Saw a Roy Jones fights years ago. That sealed the deal for me. One of the most amazing things I have ever seen by an athlete.

Hopkins got me into the sport. now I like all styles but specifically fighters who can pull off things that are outside the box, that other fighters can't and who's skills are a little more subtle and hard to notice.

I enjoy the Vasquez-Marquez, Ward-Gatti, Castillo-Corrales style of fighting, where you go in there and fight like your life depends upon it, warfare, where you try and take your opponents head off, and he tries to do the same to you.

There are plenty more examples...search them out.

loved SRL, Calzaghe and Ali style speed to begin with, now I tend to like Hopkins unlocking chess match style, because landing punches counts more than throwing them.

I LOVED Ali and Roy Jones style...the way they avoided punches...and Ali I LOVED his footwork...he would run around the ring smoothly...floating like a B-Fly...but when I witnessed Mayweather I was loke WHOA....What Floyd is doing in his later years, I never even knew was possible..standing toe to toe and not getting hit...its amazing man..I like that defense...defensive fighters are THE most entertaining, and skilled fighters!

Hands down like a Hamed or Roy Jones. I'm a serious sucker for it.

The typical brawler style made me a fan of boxing.

However, my favorite style is the one of the boxer-dancers, counterpunchers and unorthodox-style fighters. Ex. Leonard, Ali, Locche, Toney.

My first boxing hero was Ray Leonard but the first time I was able to recognise a style in an active boxer was Iron Mike. Then I realised I liked the style of Hagler and Azumah Nelson as I became old enough to distinguish.I thought McGuigan was very entertaining too and I knew I was becoming a proper fan when I found Holmes-Spinks enthralling and my dad(barely even a casual fan) said it was boring.Later on I loved Barrera's later style and really appreciate Marquez' boxing brain.
I'd always pick Ray as my ultimate stylist but I've enjoyed many fighters with differing styles. That's the beauty of this game.

Julio Cesar Chavez got me into boxing. Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Tyson, Jones Jr, and De La Hoya cemented the love for the sport.

My favorite style is the brawler, but I also love to watch a technical boxer who isn't afraid to fight.
