Here's a list of guys that managed to give floyd some trouble and win anywhere from 4-7 rounds when they were up against him:

    Castillo
    Maidana
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Zab Judah

What did these guys do that canelo, juan manuel marquez, arturo gatti, diego corrales, shane mosley, ricky hatton, etc didn't or couldn't do?

Greatest at ducking, running or setting onerous conditions when he became the A side. Floyd is an equal-opportunity boxer, he has defeated both men and at least one woman.

    Prime fighters
Fighters with horsehair gloves especially Maidana
    Amir Khan
Fighters who wouldn't be deterred by his power (or lack of)
    Eric Morales
No IV bags or Lidocaine allowed rules
Fight venue outside of Las Vegas.

Southpaws, and specially at the early stages of his career when he wasnt as wise as he was at the end of it.

Castillo flat out won the first fight, I've watched it back a number of times and always give it to Castillo. Maidana I could easily see first fight going to him as well, although I had it 7-5 for Mayweather with quite a few close rounds.

Nah may won the fight. It would have been even more clear if it wasn’t for the nonsense point deduction.

this. Castillo won and maidana was either a draw or 7-5 maidana. Maidana outlanded Floyd in 6 of 12 rounds and also landed more power punches

Clearly a biased fanboy. Why do all his fans have to be in love with him lmao. Unofficial scorecards was 115-111 to Castillo.

For people who think this I'd be interested in the round-by-round scoring you had.

Reading/literacy, impulse control, not hitting chicks, not being a complete douche-bag. All struggles for Floyd in his boxing career and after. He didn’t struggle at cherry picking and selectively avoiding top prime opponents. I’d say he did that better than anyone in history.

i think aaron pryor would be a nightmare matchup for floyd
I think amir khan would have caused him problems
