Omarov is overrated, he always usually gets beat before the medals in the major championships. Plus Gimbatov beat him at the national championships so Gimbatov will probably be russia's super heavy.

I would say in this order

    Medzhidov
    Hrgovic
    Dychko
    Pfeifer
    Joyce
    Nistor
    Yoka
    Gimbatov
    Omarov
    Rock

I'd still rate the Uzbek, Moroccan ahead of rock and what ever Cuban is sent be it perot or toirac

Hope good is this Rock guy have you seen him?

Perot an Toirac are poor, it's surprising Cuba don't have any top super heavies.

Iv seen rock and imo his decent but that kid from Germany kadiru is better than him and it's not right to be taliving about him as a contender at the Olympics when his down nothing at senior level

Perot did very well in the wsb and has done a lot more than rock. Toirac is very talented and a good mover, more talented than rock, his lazy though

There's no chance of Erislandy Savon getting another shot then after being totally robbed in London then?

I'm not up on the Cuban AM scene.

Erislandy savon fights at 91kg not superhwavyweighgt and he might have already qualified depending on who the Russians pick to represent them at 91kg

Moved down. 91kg and 91kg+ are both pretty packed in the amatuers so no real advantage or disadvantage

Seems an odd choice to be ranked as high as #4 in the world at a weight and still move down although I think he was stopped a couple of times at SHW. Maybe he thinks he has a better chance of standing up to heavy handed guys sub 91kg.

Anyway, I hope he gets a fair crack of the whip in Brazil if he makes it to Rio. I was there in London when he got robbed and even though I obviously wanted AJ to win, I knew as well as everyone else there that it was a joke that the judges gave him that decision.

Savon is the most robbed amatuer I know. Robbed against Joshua, robbed against mammadov (the boxer who gets the most gifts) and was very very unlucky to lose to tischenko in the world final. However he did get what I would call a robbery decision over levit in the wsb. And yes medzhidov stopped him before and he looked very weary of levits power in the wsb

I root for Medzhidov. I also hope he will turn pro after the Olympics but I have my doubts about that.
