    Holmes, Louis, possibly Charles. Fury might be a bridge too far based on his size, not necessarily his skill.

    I would class Louis and Schmeling more as boxer punchers.

    If you are talking about guys who strictly fit the definition of classic boxers, then Ali might well have been the best bet!

    George, you know I love you (no homo) but Ali was certainly not in his prime against Frazier and this is coming from someone who's favorite fighter is Frazier.

    How do I know that Ali is going to win this his poll? Let’s just say I have been on classic long enough to know that Ali will win every poll ever...nah it’s not Ali but it will be fun hearing it over and over again ad nauseam

    Cmon bruh. Ali was still very sharp, in good condition & was still a top-notch fighter, but he wasn't in his prime. This doesn't take anything away from Frazier's win - as it's still very good version of Ali he faced (70-75 Ali was legit).

    I think that what saves him in this argument, is that a lot of the other strong candidates, don't really fall into the technical boxer category.

    The guys with the power to stop Frazier in his tracks, are in fact boxer punchers.
