he gets KTFO by 6 or 7 of them and beats none of them

that is why FRAUDS win over hatton at 147 holds no significance in the 147 division

Here's the top welterweights in the world...

    Floyd Mayweather
    Miguel Cotto
    Shane Mosley
    Antonio Margarito
    Carlos Quintana
    Paul Williams
    Kermit Cintron
    Andre Berto
    Zab Judah
    Joshua Clottey

I wouldn't pick Hatton over any of them.

    This thread is pathetic.

    1. A win of an undefeated champion over another undefeated champion, in adjacent weight classes, is always very significant, especially if they are both P4P fighters.

    2. Your fantasy match-ups of Hatton against the Top10 welterweight are stupid. It's just speculation.

I think Hatton would beat Clottey, Cintron, Judah, etc.

Agreed, most of them knock him out. He simply cannot take a welterweight punch nor he impose himself on larger men.

Correction he was a P4P fighter based on what he did at 140 not 147 we asw how he collazo with 30 more seconds will have KTFO of him
at 140 trhat win will have more significance at 147 it doesnt at all it is the same as beating an unranked undefeated ww

Hatton beat a WW champ...Collazo....he was the undefeated champ @ 140 and ranked in the top 10 P4P....Hatton weighed 145 the night of the fight...he was in shape....he mauled and roughed Mayweather up and yet he still got KO'ed!!

    dont discredit Floyds victory

and i wonder how many of the top 10 guys Alfonso Gomez would beat???

The night of the fight, Hatton's weight was around 154 lbs. That's the same when he fights at Light Welterweight.

For the Collazo fight, his weight (the night of the fight) was closer to 160.

agreed thread is obviously trying to downgrade mayweathers victory over hatton, but is has to be hatton on the thread title cuz theres 2many floyd bashing threads going around, might as well be called "hatton cant beat any of these guys ...list of names... so basically that means floyd beat a **** fighter"

You seriously believe he beats Judah, Cintron and Clottey?

They would all destroy Hatton, with the possible exception of Berto who looks like a certain hypejob. Even he should be much stronger, and his best attributes (mainly offensively) are enough to beat Hatton. Cintron is also horrific against pressure fighting, but he should be much too big, and those powerful straight rights Hatton is so open to...

Hatton is one dimensional, and that one dimension is physical strength at his weight. Once that is taken away against bigger men, he does not have the boxing ability to fall back on

You can say the same about pretty much every boxer, at some point or other, upto the heavies.

Hatton is a Small junior welter, let alone welter, he has only ever fought 2 men taller then him;both by half a inch.
