    Certainly the 90's George Foreman.

Frans Botha, Axel Shulz... Mike Moorer?

Baer was 6’2.5 weight usually 210lbs and had an 81 inch reach.

He had a solid run to the title knocking out Schmeling and defeating by decision Earnie Schaaf.
Then he stopped Primo whose ankle was injured the first time he was floored. Which led to repeated knockdowns after that.
For me Max was a bit of a front runner- it’s notable that he often lost to fighters with good chins that didn’t fold up when he hit them- early losses to Uzcudon, Risko, Schaaf, the unfortunate showing giving away the title to Braddock.

Once Max loses his his size advantage and weight advantage to the fighters fighting in the 90s his punching effectiveness would dip some. For me that would be poison to someone of max’s Mental make up.

For me he could probably bang out the chinny Moorer and the prone to gas out Morrison. I could see someone like Axel Schulz giving him fits - lateral movement, sturdy chin, to the point Max becomes disinterested and ends up in a much closer fight than anyone expected.
Maybe a Herbie Hide. Briggs may gas out and fold.
    Have to think about others.

I disagree with Foreman, and am unsure about Moorer. I'd add in Shannon Briggs, Jesse Ferguson, Bruce Seldon, and possibly guys like Ray Mercer and late 90s Wlad.

The best versions of each ends much in the fashion of Lewis/Ruddock... with Lennox having his hand raised.

    I don´t think so.
The most notable champ he might make it against would be Seldon.

We have to acknowledge that Baer with a year or more in modern training would get rid of his archaic fight style and metamorphose into a much better fighter.
