...I'm thinking...time spent with them, autographs, taking pictures with them, responding to fan-mail, chatting in the street, charity work...
Probably DLH beleive it or not. He backs a lot of charities and has those yearly handouts where he gives out toys and turkeys (of course he also has the most to give). barrera I think does some **** too. He started that foundation "ni una mas" to help combat the problem of all the women that were disapearing along the US mexico border
Pacman is known to give Money to poor neighbors whenever he wins. He handed it himself. Always gives donations in any Disasters in the Philippines. Spend time authographing & having pix with fans & loving it. Has his own column in the newspaper to talk to his fans & lately he's answering the latest issues.
It does strike me that most boxers are closer to their fans, give more to charity and help their communities more than other sports stars...no? Maybe it has to do with the poor background that many of them have...maybe, with the fact that they know what it's like to go hungry and suffer...
I would have to dissagree with that. Many NFL,NBA, and MLB players give a lot back to their fans and do a lot for the community.
