Good point. Besides not running over his true fans, how has Hamed given back to community?

All these boxers have done charity work, including Hamed I'm sure.

I can't argue with that. He probably also did a lot of community service during his stint in jail.

Believe it or not Hopkins not only donates millions to charity...but also time. He does work with troubled youth and such as well. Watch his Beyond the Glory and you will see a glimpse of what I mean.

Me and some friends tried to meet him once, he told us to **** off. I wonder if it's because he was so ashamed to giving away the fight with Taylor, if that's the case, I can understand.

If I had an L on my record to Jermain Taylor, I'd be contemplating suicide.

Well he's wrong. Bernard is very nice in person. I have a picture with him and an autograph. He didn't charge anything.

Funny, I met him once (at a gym in Philly with a few friends of mine). He was MOBBED by about 30 people. Stayed and talked to each one...signed multiple autographs for everyone as well. He even did my friends voice mail (its been changed since... ). Came off to me as a GREAT guy. Funny as hell as well...

Go watch his Beyond the Glory...even for his non-fans its a fantastic watch. It really goes into some of the great things he does for the community. Youd be surprised how much he gives back.
