Which one do you think is better? Personally, I'm leaning Middleweight Championship Series style as it only took 1 year to complete where as this will take about 3 if not 4.

I like the MW tournament because of it brevity but there is more talent in this tournament so the length is necessary IMO so these guys get a chance to fight on despite a loss.

That's what I like about the Super Six, but the MCS finished up in a year. Guys can get old real fast in a 3 year tournament, a 1 year tournament not so much.

I don't know how anyone can pick the MW one over the SMW one. The MW one wasn't even a tournament. It was just designed to give Hopkins and Trinidad some victories and collect belts to ultimately face each other.

The SMW tournament guarantees us competitive fights on paper as it is always fighters in the Top 10 facing each other and there is no real fav. Anybody can win this thing. People complaining about how long it takes? That just means we get guaranteed top rated match ups for 1 and a half to 2 years. Too long? Not long enough!

The Super 6 will take around 2 years altogether, the main issue with the S6 format is injuries.

    I prefer the Super-Six.

They maybe should have anticipated things like injuries, venue disputes etc. The latter should have been settled from the very beginning. But I do agree, there is probably one stage too much.

The MCS was too short for my liking. And I don't like the fact that some potentially great fights can be swept aside. Example being the 140 tournament that's underway now. I'd like to see all 4 guys fight each other at least once.
